Somebody says...

1. Be the change you want to see in others...said by M.K.Gandhi
2. Ask not what your country can give you, but ask what you can give to the country ...John F. Kennedy.
It's obvious, if one thinks to change the system or wants to introduce something new in the existing system, he/her self has to bring that change in the system. A person, inorder to make that change happen, has to mould him/her self according to the demand of that change, not forgetting that he/she has to cope with teh demands of the existing mundane system aswell.
But belive me, as far as India is concerned it's too difficult to bring some change. I'm, for sure, not being narcissist or negative for anybody. Let me give a real time example, that will satisfy my above saying.
In our Lok sabha aka Lower House ...which is People's representative (Elected Body of Indians) to Central Government has many rules to pass a bill. Right ? Now, to pass a certain law there has to be 50% majority in the House. Now, sometimes, during passing of certain Bills, it seems that it would have been good if needed percentage of majority could have been rose to 75 %. So as to keep passing of the bill nice and sober. But you see, now to change this percentage of majority needed to pass a bill, again 50% of majority is needed in the Lower House. See the week links.
But still, who knows, your views can bring a change in lives of some one, or bing solace to the other, or bring a windfall to someone else, or trigger a thought to innovate or simply spin a thread for some one, which can become an enlighted path for the wary. Opportunities and Change are not to be wasted, and it is better late than ever.
Be the Doer.

On India's B'day

From India's Shining Slope, we have started trudging on our way to India's Declining.

What India Needs:

1. Accountability of Government
2. Proper Mindset of WE People
3. Responsible Youth
4. An end to Moral Policing
5. Overhauling and Proper Maintenance of Educational System
6. Responsible and Better Mass Media/Cinema/Journalism

India: a Sphinx

One India lives in the Optimism of our hearts, the other India lives in the Skepticism of our Minds.

Go Go Goa

Due to swine flu epidemic/proliferation, Government of Maharashtra announced to shut down Pune for a week. Specially educational institutes, colleges, schools, malls and multiplexes should remain close for a week inorder to prevent people to come in crowds and stop spreading of flu. Government still is not capable to get a proper med (except of Tamiflu) to curb the flu.
Now the good news is now and then, since last a few days, we being in isbm, were getting news that, this college got closed for a week and a half, that college shuts off for a week, etc etc. And we used to wonder, kya salla, apni college kab bandh hogi re !!! We continuously asked to college authorities about the same, and we got the reply from President: if Government of Maharashtra officially anounces shut down, than and only we'll be closed. Phew !!!
So then, we started keeping tab on rediffmail and google (shaakal news, zeenews, TOI, et al), and continously watching the latest upcoming news. Whether Government of Maharashtra is officially announcing the shut off or not; the day was Saturday I guess.
Sunday Passed, Monday broke. We came to the classes. Attended the college, and were giving the presentation. Myself being too curious about the holidays, always seats at the last rows keeping my lappie on and keeping tab on news. Suddenly, on zeenews, something flashed. And there was it. Government officially announced Pune to close down for 10 days, inorder to stop further spread of proliferating swine flu. Hip Hip hurrey.
I had two plans to follow. And, I had one plan to not to think off.
1. I had a plan to go to chennai, madurai and rameshwaram.
2. I had a plan to go to Goa.
1. I didn't wanted to think about going home, Veraval, Gujarat.
I started thinking about rough ininerary to go to chennai. (btw, this was the time when we were in Vineeta ma'am's class giving WACC presentation). Unfortunately, nothing turned up correctly. Sam and Tarun were forcing me to enjoy Goa. Its jubilient, Sam said. It's my home, let's go there and enjoy, Tarun said. I was confused now. After a little thought and much of a time, i finally decided to bang of Goa. We foursome. Myself, Sam, Gagan and Tarun - all Sec-B mates. Tarun being the host, he's a localite of Vasco-Da-Gama.
Go Go Goa. It's scintillating.
Drink...eat sea food...hookah...sun bathing...playing with waves...tatoo on the neck...wandering...cool chicks...that's exquisite and ravishing Goa. And WE enjoyed it till the fullest. We'd all the extremes.
We went to the calenguet beach and had tatoo on our neck. I had a chinese sign symbolizing "DREAM", an Gagan carved an "OM", we did all this while gulping Haywards. Then, we went to a near by beach-hotel and had delicious sea food. Our cusine: shark gravy and prawn biryani, isn't it mouthwatering ? Yummieeeee...
Calenguet beach is captivating. We had a graceful and bewitching experience in Goa. We love you Goa.
And there you go, everything was going fine untill Home came calling, and I had to go to Gujarat. Everything vanished and I booked ticket from Goa to Rajkot. My Goa sojourn ended with a lonely beach, were Tarun took us; that place also known as "Ghanta Goa". ha ha ha.
P.S.
Myself, on behalf of whole ISB&M family, heartily mourn and pray for all those who died of swine flu. Our heavy grieverances to their families. May God bless their souls and they receive heavenly peace. Amen.

Friendship Day Bash

We'al ISB&M ites had a great friendship day bash in the campus. Students of our campus (Nande) and those from Viaman Nagar came over here and had a dance party in our Audi. DJ from Viman Nagar (jr batch) was playing mostly bollywoody songs. Beats were not up to the mark. All were complaining 'bout it. Green lazer and Red & Yellow flash lights blurring over Sutta Smoke created nice ambience. White flicker was creating tranzic atmosphere. A typical disc atmosphere was created by LSD (Life Style Development Cell) members. Kudos to them for all the arrangements. 6:30 was the official reporting time, but party actually started at around 8. Viman nagar girls actually made the floor vibrant (Oops!). Party lasted till 10, and we all got busy with monday's presentation of WACC.

See you folks.
